Lesha Martin, President
Lesha has many years of experience as a veterinary technician and in the pet rescue field. She opened and operated a successful dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and retail store in Orlando, Florida for five years called "Spoiled Spot."
When Lesha moved to the Woodstock, Georgia area, she obtained a position with the Cherokee County Animal Shelter as the Rescue Coordinator where she worked for five years. During those years, Lesha came to know first-hand the tragedy of pet overpopulation and unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.
In late 2010, she left the shelter to found Spay/Neuter Coalition; with a passionate mission to reduce pet overpopuation and stop needless euthanasia on a wider, larger scale.
Lesha graduated with an Associates Degree in Business at Valencia Community College in Orlando. She continued classes in Business, the University of Central Florida in Orlando, as well. She lives in Woodstock with her husband and a few lucky rescue dogs. Lesha has a detailed profile and references on "Linked In."
